PAYING OFF THE BOWMAN HOUSE

God converted a Sigma Nu frat house into a space of worship and fellowship. Conveniently located one mile away from Montana State University, the Bowman House has been home to college students, families, and the community of Bozeman, Montana. The Bowman House has been a symbol of God’s faithfulness to the Generation Ministries church body. Sigma Nu sold the Bowman House in 2007 for $455,000. The Lord raised a $130,000 down payment. Subsequently, Sigma Nu accepted our purchase offer and granted us a Contract-for-Deed for the remaining balance. Since then, the Lord has immensely blessed us with a place, for anyone who walks through its doors, to call home. The Bowman House hosts a youth group called NeoGen, several campus ministries, a summer VBS, a international student ministry called International Students Inc. (ISI), and a wedding venue for couples with a tight budget. We see the space that the Bowman House offers as a valuable resource for ministries aimed at glorifying God in the Bozeman community.

God miraculously provided another $130,000, which lowered our loan to $195,000. We are humbled by God’s faithful provision and pray that He continues to bless us with the Bowman House. If God lays our church on your heart, please pray for us and for God’s provision in paying off our loan. Since we began intentionally praying for this loan, at the beginning of January 2016, the Lord has provided another $15,060. If the Lord prompts your heart to give for this cause, we ask that you do so to glorify God and his kingdom.
